What this service does

When an engine ECU fails, a blank replacement won’t start the car — it has to carry your immobiliser and vehicle data. We clone your original ECU’s data (software, coding, immobiliser data, VIN) onto a replacement so it drops straight in and drives, with no dealer programming. We do this across all makes — the cloning reads and writes the ECU data directly, so it isn’t brand-specific.

How it works — quote first

Because this covers every make and the right approach depends on your exact unit, we quote each job individually. Send your VIN and ECU part number. We’ll confirm we can clone your ECU, advise whether you supply a donor unit or we source one, and send you a price. No payment until you’ve got your quote and you’re happy to go ahead.

Covers — all makes, petrol & diesel

We clone the major ECU families, including:

• Bosch — ME, MED, MEV, EDC15 / EDC16 / EDC17, MG1 / MD1
• Continental / Siemens — SID, SIM, PCR, EMS
• Delphi, Denso, Marelli, Valeo and others

Common makes include Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Volvo, Ford, Holden / GM, Toyota and more.

What happens next

• Send your VIN and ECU part number
• We confirm we can clone it and send you a price
• You approve, then ship us your ECU (and a donor unit if you’re supplying one)
• We clone it and post it back — same day once received

What’s NOT included

• ECU removal/fitting — workshop or DIY
• Engine mechanical faults — this is electronics only
• Cases where the original data is unreadable can’t be cloned — we’ll confirm when you send your VIN
