Description

What this service does This covers BMW diesel engine ECUs – the DDE (Digital Diesel Electronics), Bosch EDC16 and EDC17 families used across the M47, M57, N47, N57, B47 and B57 diesels. These commonly fail to a no-start or no-communication, after a flat battery, or from water getting into the DDE (a flooded DDE is common on the F-series, where the unit sits low). We test your unit, quote the repair before any work, repair your own DDE and return it plug-and-play.

Covers (not limited to): DDE on 318d/320d/325d/330d/520d/525d/530d/730d, X3/X5 diesels and Sprinter-shared units – EDC16 (M47/M57) and EDC17 (N47/N57/B47/B57).

How it works

2. We confirm what’s involved and give you a price.
3. You post the DDE (plus immobiliser + key if we tell you it’s needed). We test and repair it.
4. We post it back plug-and-play.

A $120 assessment fee applies and is credited toward the repair if you go ahead.
