What this service does

When an instrument cluster is repaired or replaced, the replacement has to be set to the vehicle’s TRUE mileage so the dashboard reads correctly and matches the car’s history. We correct the cluster’s stored mileage to the vehicle’s genuine reading.

Legitimate use only

This service exists to restore a vehicle’s true, original mileage after a cluster repair or replacement. We do NOT reduce, wind back or falsify mileage to misrepresent a vehicle’s value or history. Odometer tampering to deceive a buyer is illegal. That is exactly why we require photo proof of both the old and new cluster before any work — to document the genuine reading. Where the law requires the correction to be disclosed, that is the vehicle owner’s responsibility.

What we require before any work

– Make, model and year
– VIN
– Clear photos of BOTH the old and new cluster, each showing its mileage reading

How it works

1. Send us the details and photos above for confirmation and a quote
2. Once we’ve confirmed the job and you’ve approved the quote, post us the cluster to be corrected.
3. We set it to your vehicle’s true mileage.
4. We post it back.

What’s NOT included

– Cluster removal and refitting — workshop or DIY
– Any request to lower or misrepresent mileage — we don’t do it
