What this service does This covers any BMW petrol engine ECU (DME) that isn’t one of the specific units listed above. If you’re not sure which listing matches your car, start here. We test your unit, identify the fault, and quote the repair before doing any work – you approve the price first. We repair your own DME and return it plug-and-play, so there’s no dealer coding at your end.

Covers (not limited to): MS41 (M52), ME5.2.1 (M62 V8 / M73 V12), ME7.2 (M62TU V8), ME9.2 / MEV9.2 (N62 V8), MS45 (M54/M56), MSV70 (N52), MSD85 (N63/S63 V8), MEVD17.2 (N20/N55), and M-division MSS50/MSS54/MSS60/MSS65.

How it works

1. Request a quote with your model, year, VIN, the DME type/part number off the label, and the symptoms or fault codes – photos help.
2. We confirm what’s involved and give you a price.
3. You post the DME (plus immobiliser + key if we tell you it’s needed). We test and repair it.
4. We post it back plug-and-play.

A $120 assessment fee applies and is credited toward the repair if you go ahead.
