What this service does

This covers any Mercedes-Benz engine ECU that isn’t one of the specific units listed above. If you’re not sure which listing matches your car, or your engine isn’t shown, start here. We test your unit, identify the fault, and quote the repair before we do any work – you approve the price first. We repair your own ECU and return it plug-and-play, so there’s no coding or programming at your end.

Common symptoms we see

– No start / no crank
– No communication with the ECU
– Misfire or rough running
– Engine fan stuck on full
– Heat or vibration damage (engine-mounted ECUs)
– Liquid damage (ECUs in the under-windscreen box)

How it works

1. Request a quote below with your make, model, year, VIN and the symptoms or fault codes – photos of the ECU label help.
2. We confirm what’s involved and give you a price.
3. You post us the ECU. We test and repair it.
4. We post it back, ready to refit – plug-and-play, no coding.

A diagnosis/test fee applies and is credited toward the repair if you go ahead. Turnaround: a few business days plus return post. Warranty: 12 months unlimited km. Workshops (ABN): trade pricing on application.
