Description
The permanent fix for a failed steering lock on newer Mercedes
On these models the electronic steering lock (ESL / ELV) is tied to your vehicle’s encrypted data, so the emulator has to be programmed to match your car. You ship us your EIS module, we read your data, program the emulator to it, and post it back ready to fit. It permanently replaces the failure-prone factory steering lock.
Symptoms this fixes
- Steering wheel locked and key won’t turn
- Car cranks but won’t start, or won’t crank
- No dashboard lights when the key goes in
- “Steering lock malfunction” / “ESL” warning
- Clicking or whirring from the steering column
- Intermittent starting — works some days, dead others
Fault codes commonly stored
A22449, A25407, A25408, A25409, A25464
